Club Page Setup

Each team must create a club page on Chess.com at least a few days before the tournament. You can find instructions on how to create a club and invite members here:

Arrival and Registration

All teams and players need to arrive at 173-177 Euston Rd., London NW1 2BJ by 1pm. Register on-site and log in to your devices using the venue’s Wi-Fi to join the Chess.com tournament arena.

Tournament Format

The tournament is a 90-minute multi-club arena on Chess.com starting at 1.30pm. Only players present at the venue can participate. The time control is 3 minutes plus a 2-second increment (3+2). Teams with players joining from outside the venue will be disqualified.

Final Match

The top two teams from the arena will compete in an over-the-board match at 4pm. The final will have two back-to-back matches with a time control of 10+5. Teams must have at least 6 players, with the option to expand to 10 boards if both captains agree. In case of a tie, the team that placed 1st in the arena wins.
