The PBG Alaskan Knights extended their unbeaten streak with a fifth consecutive victory, defeating Alpine SG Pipers 9:7. Wins by Nodirbek, who earned Player of the Match honors, and Zhongyi secured the Knights’ triumph. Although Magnus Carlsen won his Icon matchup against Anish Giri with the Black pieces, it wasn’t enough to turn the tide for the Pipers.
