In the final game before the Grand Finals, the defending champions Triveni Continental Kings defeated Alpine SG Pipers with a 9:7 scoreline, securing their spot in the Finals where they will face PBG Alaskan Knights for the ultimate prize. Javokhir Sindharov, who was named Player of the Match, and Valentina Gunina won their games with White pieces. Despite Magnus Carlsen’s victory over Alireza Firouzja, it wasn’t enough for the Pipers, as they bow out of the tournament.
