In a thrilling nail-biter, the Ganges Grandmasters secured their first win of Season 2 of the Tech Mahindra Global Chess League, edging out Triveni Continental Kings with a scoreline of 8:7. Despite Vishy Anand’s loss, Parham and Nurgyul Salimova rallied to lead the Grandmasters to victory. Alexandra from the Kings, however, earned the Player of the Match award for her standout performance.
