Nodirbek Abdusattorov, born in 2004 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, is a chess grandmaster and one of the brightest young talents in the global chess scene. He earned his Grandmaster title at just 13, becoming one of the youngest in history to do so. Abdusattorov rose to international prominence in 2021 by winning the World Rapid Chess Championship, defeating elite players including Magnus Carlsen and Ian Nepomniachtchi, and becoming the youngest world champion in any chess format.
In 2022, he played a pivotal role on Board 1 as Uzbekistan won gold at the Chess Olympiad, earning individual accolades for his outstanding performance. Known for his deep strategic understanding, tactical sharpness, and composure under pressure, Abdusattorov has consistently delivered impressive results in top-tier tournaments.
